Schedule: Monday Friday (5 Days/Week)

6:30 AM 3:00 PM (5x8.5 Hours, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
8:00 AM 4:00 PM (5x8 Hours)
10:00 AM 6:00 PM (5x8 Hours, 60-minute unpaid lunch)
Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) will provide direct patient care and support nursing staff in a fast-paced acute care environment. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring patient conditions, obtaining vital signs, maintaining patient safety, and supporting the delivery of quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and other ADLs.
Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations.
Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and transportation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
Accurately document patient care in the EMR.
Follow hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Current BLS Certification (AHA) .
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nursing Attendant or Patient Care Technician.
Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician Training Program .
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
